The Kodak Signet 35 is a 35mm rangefinder camera, known for its sturdy cast aluminum alloy body and excellent Ektar 44mm f3.5 lens with rear helicoid focus. It was Kodak's top American-made 35mm camera of the 1950s and the first in the Kodak Signet camera line.
The camera offers four different shutter speeds (B, 1/25, 1/50, 1/100, and 1/300) and bulb. Despite having fewer speeds compared to its German and Japanese counterparts, its Kodak Synchro 300 shutter is known for its reliability.
Unique design details set the Signet 35 apart. It features a large toothed wheel for the advance and rewind functions, a big plate for the shutter release button, and a brightly mirrored chromed film pressure plate. The camera also allows for multiple exposures and has a massive focusing assembly made with ball bearings for smooth operation.
This particular model is the black US Air Force version of the Kodak Signet 35.
